R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

Our congressman is coming to town tonight to hold one of these “infamous” town halls. And I have a feeling it won’t be pretty, seeing as how he’s a Democrat.

I just have one thing to say to these rabble rousers we’ve been seeing on television. Shut the hell up.

I don’t care what side of the health care reform debate you’re on… right, left, over, under, between… Show a little respect. If you disagree with what your congressman is doing, or you don’t understand what the bill means, fine. Voice your opinion respectfully. There is no need to get all rowdy. Your congressman will be more impressed by your firm but polite disagreement than with your unintelligent ravings.

Kudos to Barney Frank for finally standing up to these lunatics.

And just heard from my coworker that the venue is already packed full of people, and the town hall doesn’t even start for over another hour. This does not bode well.
